Religious Education Facilitator - In Partnership with Warwickshire

What is the job role?

Warwickshire’s and Coventry’s SACRE are looking to appoint a new RE Facilitator to support their work. This will be an SLA with a local school to second a teacher for one day per week, for 2 years in the first instance.

Who are we looking for?

The key responsibilities of the RE Facilitator role are:

To facilitate the work of the SACRE and attend SACRE meetings
Act as a single point of reference for Warwickshire and Coventry schools
Lead and develop areas related to the Agreed Syllabus, including developing new electronic resources and materials for schools to deliver RE
Produce the SACRE annual report in line with national guidelines
Deliver a series of twilight meetings and plan annual activities on behalf of SACRE
Monitor the work of RE on behalf of Warwickshire and Coventry local authorities
The RE Facilitator will report to the co-chairs of SACRE
