What is the job role?

Southfields Community Primary School is looking for an inspirational Headteacher to lead the school from September 2021.

Southfields Community Primary School is a vibrant and exciting two-form entry school in the heart of Hillfields, Coventry with 413 children on roll, including 24 in Nursery.

The latest data for Key Stage 2 results (2018/2019) showed an above average number of pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths, with a well above average progress score in reading. The school was judged in July 2017, in a short OFSTED inspection, as a good school with some outstanding elements.

The governors are looking for a dynamic Headteacher who can continue to build on these foundations in taking the school forward in its development.

The Headteacher will have overall responsibility for the organisation and management of the whole school. The successful applicant will deliver vision, leadership and strategic direction to secure the overall effectiveness and continued improvement of the school.
