What is the job role?
An exciting opportunity has become available at Coundon Primary School. We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Headteacher in KS2. This is an exciting opportunity for a middle leader looking to progress to senior leadership, or an Assistant Headteacher looking to broaden their experiences in a new setting.
The position is to start September 2025 according to notice period required.
There is an opportunity to visit the school and meet with the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher on Tuesday 13th May at 1.30pm. Please contact the school if you would like to attend.
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and inspirational teacher and leader who can support the Headteacher to continue to embed and further develop high quality teaching and learning across KS2.
We are looking for someone who is:-
- Passionate about learning and can demonstrate outstanding leadership
- An outstanding classroom practitioner who has a clear vision for further development of the curriculum
- Has a deep understanding of the needs of different children and be passionate about providing the very best for all children in our school
- Has a clear understanding of safeguarding and the role of the leader in this process
- Play a role in organisation and school policy development
- Has the personality, drive and energy to motivate and support everyone within our learning community.
