What is the job role?

The Governors of Stoke Heath Primary School are thrilled to offer the position of Deputy Head Teacher to an experienced, forward thinking leader with a passion for education, children and communities.

We promote challenge through a bespoke Stoke Heath Curriculum with children at the centre of all we do.  We serve a diverse community with approximately 40% Pupil Premium, over 50 languages are spoken and 24% of our children have a SEND need. We use a trauma informed practice approach to our day-to-day practice ensuring that school is a safe space for children to learn.

As Deputy Headteacher you will join us at an exciting point in our improvement journey as we continue to develop our teaching and learning, ensuring the best outcomes for our children.

Who are we looking for?

You will be:

•             A highly motivated and inspirational leader with a successful leadership record, who is able to motivate, lead, support and challenge;

•             excellent communicative and inter-personal skills, a sense of humour is a must; and

•             committed to maximising pupil progress through the setting of high standards and by promoting effective teaching and learning.
