Teaching and Learning Assistant:
Full Time (KS3 and KS4)
Permanent, 35 hours, term time only
Corley Centre is looking to appoint a Teaching and Learning Assistant to contribute to and support student learning within Key Stages 3 and 4.
Corley Centre is a secondary special school for children with complex social and communication difficulties. A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis.
Governors are looking to appoint a calm, creative, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, with a positive mind-set, who is prepared to contribute fully to all aspects of school life and work as part of a dedicated team to enhance our students’ learning and personal development.
This post is particularly suitable for a graduate seeking school-based experience or existing support staff with experience of working with children with autistic spectrum condition.
The school has been awarded NAS Autism Accreditation and a comprehensive package of training will be provided to all new staff.
