Teaching Assistant - St Christopher Primary School

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced and talented Teaching Assistant who is looking to support pupils with their education. Our pupils are delightful, and you will join a supportive and friendly team of staff.

The candidate must ideally have: 

• At least two years of experience working as a teaching assistant.

• A GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics.

• Have gained a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.

• Trained in teaching phonics (ideally RWI) 

As part of the interview process candidates will be expected to carry out a task with pupils and complete a basic written task.

The post will initially be based in Key Stage 2.

Work Pattern

35 hours per week

39 weeks term time only
