Teacher - Aldermans Green Primary part of the Triumph Multi Academy Trust
What is the job role?
TEACHER REQUIRED TO WORK WITH OUR PUPILS WITH SEND SEPTEMBER 2023
Are you an experienced classroom practitioner who has a good working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and effective inclusion within a primary setting?
At Alderman’s Green we have a 12 place Enhanced Resource Base for children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), including complex communication and interaction difficulties within a mainstream school and also many children with additional needs in our mainstream classes. This allows for specialist and targeted support and provision to be delivered in order to meet the children’s individual needs.
In the Enhanced Resource Base, the children have access to specialist equipment, resources and skilled staff but also have access to the benefits of being in a mainstream school; the Enhanced Resource Base is not separate from the rest of the school.
Children that you will be working with will in the main have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) with Autism and/or complex communication and interaction difficulties as their primary area of need.
We wish to appoint a teacher with a commitment to Special Educational Needs and Inclusion.
We can offer you:
- The opportunity to work in a specialised, supportive team of professionals
- The opportunity to work with children who are enthusiastic and committed
- Wide range of high quality CPD opportunities to develop you as an individual practitioner
- The opportunity to develop your practice and be a high quality practitioner in a specialist setting
You should be:
- Experience of creating IEP targets and programmes of interaction for SEND children.
We are a school that expects the best of everyone because our children deserve the very best but we also support one another well. At Alderman’s Green we work as a team to ensure that all of our children achieve the best quality learning experiences that we can provide. Our school promotes an enthusiasm for learning and achievement. We provide our staff with high quality CPD opportunities in order that we can all be the best that we can be.
This post is not appropriate for an ECT.
