Site Services Officer - Little Heath Primary School

What is the job role?

Little Heath Primary School are looking for an enthusiastic SSO to keep Little Heath up and running. Little Heath is a medium sized primary school.

The person appointed will be responsible for site security, Health and safety, and all duties associated with the role of an SSO (please see attached job description)

We are looking for a candidate with experience but we are also willing to receive applications from people who have a range of skills to offer, ie, painting, plumbing, carpentry etc. Training is part of the job and will include training on asbestos, water hygiene, fire safety etc.

As well as lone working the successful applicant will be working as part of the school team. They will also need to work with outside contractors when necessary and will be responsible for reporting all areas of repairs and maintenance required both in the school and the grounds.

The start date for this position is October/November 2020 subject to a satisfactory DBS.

Work pattern: 37 hours per week (All year round), 7-11am and 3pm – 6.30pm Monday to Friday – finishing at 6pm on a Friday
