We are at the very heart of Children’s Services in Coventry, working with colleagues at all levels across the service to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

What is the job role?

Come and us at an exciting time and be part of the Professional Support Service, which works with colleagues at all levels across Children’s Services to contribute to positive outcomes for some of the most vulnerable Children and Families across the City.

In this role you will be providing professional support to 8 Family Hubs across the City. You will be responsible for effective front desk support, greeting visitors, handling calls, managing bookings, supporting with minute taking and other tasks as appropriate.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

  • Is a self-starter
  • Has strong organisational and time management skills
  • Thrives in a busy and diverse environment
  • Has great attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
