We are a large, friendly and very successful three form entry school in the south of the city and are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our happy staff team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated HLTA who is committed to providing children with excellent and exciting learning opportunities. The role will be based full time in a year group with some PPA or emergency teaching cover across the school. We are looking for a creative, organised and caring individual who can be flexible and work as part of a large team.

What is the job role?
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake appropriate planning and preparation of lessons for groups and whole classes
- Deliver agreed lessons and learning experiences to individuals, groups and whole classes as required
- Report on the development, progress and attainment of pupils to the responsible teacher as appropriate

Who are we looking for?
Requirements:
- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to NVQ 2 or GCSE (A-C grades) in English and Maths;
- Good verbal and written communication skills including the use of ICT;
- Commitment to ongoing professional development;
- Ability to work effectively with and form supportive relationships with pupils;
- Ability to liaise with teaching staff and provide feedback on pupil performance in lessons;
- Ability to network with parents and a wide range of support services.
