About the team we are recruiting to

Adult Social Care encompasses a wide range of vital services covering Business Systems and Continuous Improvement where we provide a range of services including Financial Assessments, provider payment processing and Business Systems administration. The Business Systems team provide support to Adult Social Care, Children’s Services and Education Services.

What is the job role?

An opportunity has arisen for the post of Digital Transformation Officer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading on the implementation and delivery of the Digital Transformation Fund Programme.

The role will work with the Integrated Care System (ICS) across Coventry and Warwickshire, supporting adult social care providers with the adoption and scaling of use of Digital Social Care Records, trialling sensor based falls prevention and detection technology and exploring other care technological innovations to improve outcomes for citizens and service users as well as providers.   You will also contribute towards the aims and objectives of the ICS Digital Strategy.  The role supports the ICS in driving transformation within the digitising adult social care agenda.

Who are we looking for?

As Digital Transformation Officer, you will be directly accountable and responsible to the Head of Service Business Systems and Improvement with a matrix working relationship with Local Authority Leads for social care across Coventry and Warwickshire.

You will show considerable initiative in identifying process improvements, stakeholder management, identifying the opportunities to increase adoption of digital tools among providers through business analysis, and in championing the innovation and change within the ICB and adult social care sector.

This is a fixed term position until 31st March 2025.
