Class Teacher - Baginton Fields School

The Governors of Baginton Fields School for students with a broad range of special educational needs are seeking to appoint an innovative, highly driven, and motivated teacher to join our team. We are looking for an inspiring professional who is able to use their energy, creativity, and excellent personal skills to support us in working towards our vision, ethos, and values. We are also open to learning of any special skill set you may have to enhance the provision in our school.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

What is the job role?

The Governors of Baginton Fields School for students with a broad range of special educational needs are seeking to appoint an innovative, highly driven, and motivated teacher to join our team. We are also open to learning of any special skill set you may have to enhance the provision in our school.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

  • can demonstrate excellent classroom practice
  • has a dynamic and creative approach to teaching and problem solving
  • has a passion for working with students with a range of learning needs
  • has the ability to challenge, motivate and inspire
  • can demonstrate commitment and leadership. 

We offer a comprehensive induction programme, mentoring support and ongoing professional development in the field of special educational needs. The successful candidate wll be well supported by a team of dedicated professionals.  Applications are welcomed from ECTs and colleagues in mainstream schools who have an interest in SEND.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
