Our warm and caring school is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Assistant Headteacher who will lead Early Years in our school. They will be an excellent teacher who has the highest expectations of the children and others. The successful candidates must demonstrate that they:

Are able to display high quality, effective classroom practice
Are able to share in promoting and developing whole-school vision
Are able to work collaboratively and be involved in the full life of the school
Are experienced in monitoring and evaluating the impact of teaching and learning strategies
Understand positive attitudes to learning and seek to foster everyone’s potential
Have an ‘unconditional positive regard’ for children and other adults
Are able to take an overview of core curriculum subjects across a phase (for example, playgroup, nursery and reception)
