Governors are looking to appoint an Assistant Head for our KS1 to join our leadership team working in partnership with the Headteacher and current leadership team.

What is the job role?

The successful candidate will:-

Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team
Be responsible for the organisation and leadership within Year 1 an Year 2
Be responsible for additional areas of responsibility such as subject leadership

Be passionate about learning and be able to demonstrate outstanding teaching leadership.
Be an outstanding classroom practitioner and have a clear vision for further development of the curriculum.
Have a deep understanding of the needs of different children and be passionate about providing the very best for all children in our school.
Have a clear understanding of Safeguarding and the role of a leader in this process.
Play a role in organisation and school policy development. • Have the personality, drive and energy to motivate and support everyone within our learning community
