The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a full time teaching position to include Year Group Leader responsibility initially for our Nursery. The school has a well-established large nursery and the appointment is to commence as soon as possible. Attached is the TLR job description for further reading

The Governors and Headteacher are looking for a passionate, forward-thinking year lead and experienced teacher to join our excellent nursery team.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will need to:
- Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Be an excellent practitioner with a love for learning
- Be a dynamic teacher who can influence children within their care
- Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills that motivate, lead, support and challenge children and colleagues.
- Have the ability to lead a year group, with responsibility for both raising and maintaining the standards of teaching and learning within it
- Ensure that behaviour and care within a year group is of the highest standard
- Ensure that a year group operates smoothly and efficiently in line with the school ethos
- Be committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding our children.
