Teaching Assistants - SEND Support x 2 - St James C of E Academy
What is the job role?
We are seeking to recruit two experienced, highly skilled practitioners to support the development of pupils with additional needs. Previous experience in supporting pupils with SEND and/or those in EYFS would be advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will:
• Be approachable, caring, and empathetic
• Use pupils’ individual targets, including those detailed in EHCPs, to plan, deliver, amend/adapt curriculum delivery accordingly with support of the SENCO
• Have experience of supporting pupils personal care needs (with training and supervision) and provide care for specified pupils, or willingness to undertake relevant training to do so

Work Pattern
25 hours per week
38 weeks term time only
Fixed tern until 31st August 2025
Start date 31st October 2022 or as soon as possible thereafter.
