The governors of Wyken Croft Primary School are excited to offer a permanent teaching assistant role with effect from September 2024. The role is full time but for the right candidate we will consider part time applications. 

Wyken Croft provides an excellent environment for all of the stakeholders of the school. About the team we are recruiting to

We are looking for an exemplary practitioner, who is motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment. The successful candidate will need to evidence an excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children, families and staff and hold a NVQ level 2 or above qualification. 

What is the job role?

The role is for a full or part time teaching assistant to work in either KS1 or KS2. For the successful candidate we can offer;-

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will need to ;-

  • Be an excellent practitioner with a love for learning
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of the curriculum with a drive to support the outcomes of our children, families and staff
  • Be enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking 
  • Be motivated and committed to supporting young people in their school environment
  • Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or above
  • Be committed to promoting the welfare of and safeguarding our
    children.
