Willenhall Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with significant special educational needs.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join our vibrant and dedicated team from January 2024.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• A commitment to make a difference to children’s lives through education
• Experience and knowledge of safeguarding
• Experience of working with children with SEND
• Knowledge of primary school curriculum
• The ability to communicate effectively with individuals and groups of children, teachers, parents and other members of staff
• A sympathetic approach to parents and an understanding of the need for confidentiality
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers and other members of staff
• The ability to accept guidance and direction from teachers
• The ability to use own initiative
• A commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
• A dedication to actively contribute to school life and the wider community
• A sense of humour, positive outlook and a kind heart
• A commitment to your own professional learning which is supported by a dedicated leadership team
