Teaching Assistant - Reception Based - Joseph Cash Primary School

What is the job role?

Are you passionate about supporting young children at the very start of their learning journey? Do you have the enthusiasm and dedication to help every child thrive?

Joseph Cash Primary School is looking for a caring, proactive and reflective Teaching Assistant to join our Reception team and support high-quality early years provision.

We are looking for someone who:


  • Has experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting
  • Has a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Is committed to supporting children’s learning, development and wellbeing
  • Can build positive relationships with children, staff and families
  • Brings energy, patience and a nurturing approach to the classroom
  • Works effectively as part of a team and uses initiative when needed
  • Is willing to contribute to a stimulating, engaging learning environment

Work pattern 35 hours per week 39 weeks per year, fixed term for year 26/27.
