Teaching Assistant / Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Alderman’s Green Primary School

What is the job role?

Grade 3 £18,933 to £20,092 or Grade 4,  £19,698 - £23,080 pro-rata dependent on qualifications/experience

We wish to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant, to support the schools drive to improve outcomes.  The successful candidate will be able to lead whole class lessons, lead intervention groups and support children to make good progress.

  • Be keen to develop their practice and be a high quality practitioner
  • Have the skills to provide and support stimulating and inspirational learning opportunities
  • Be passionate about helping children in achieving their full potential
  • Be able to effectively lead colleagues and provide them with clear direction.
  • Be able to develop positive and effective relationships with parents
  • Be able to lead classes in the short term absence of the teacher

Work Pattern: 37 hours per week, term time plus teacher training days
