This is an excellent opportunity to become a Film, Media and English teacher in a faculty with a well-established history of supporting the leadership development of colleagues. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic Film and Media Studies teacher to join our team. The department is committed to developing an innovative and creative curriculum which supports our students to achieve beyond their expectations. You will be working alongside a large team of talented staff in a department with a passion for teaching and a desire to foster excellence in all our learners.
The faculty includes a well established Media offer already, alongside Music, Performing Arts and English Language and Literature. As part of the role, the successful candidate will have a substantive Film and Media Studies timetable but will also support in the delivery of English and Performing Arts lessons.
We offer AQA Media Studies at both GCSE and GCE A Level and are looking to introduce OCR Film at both GCSE and GCE A Level next academic year. Our Media Studies A Level results are regularly amongst the highest in the school.

You will be employed by the trust which consists of five schools led by Sidney Stringer Academy. The schools are Radford Primary Academy, Ernesford Grange Community Academy, Riverbank Academy (Special School), Sidney Stringer Primary School and Sidney Stringer Academy.
