Whitmore Park is a large school in the City of Coventry. We have the highest expectation of all of our staff and pupils, with a strong commitment to promoting their well-being. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, with pupil involvement, enjoyment and achievement at its heart. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS is needed for this post. Two references will be taken up for all short listed candidates prior to interview.

We are looking to appoint a person who will share our vision for high quality education for all our children and also shows enthusiasm and motivation.

Under the direction of the Headteacher and other designated school leaders, the successful candidate will:

Deliver high quality physical education lessons and sports provision across the primary ages and beyond the curriculum.
Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity, healthy lifestyle and wellbeing, developing opportunities for all children to engage in a varied programme of activities.
Be responsible for planning, delivering and monitoring a co-ordinated programme of activities, to include games, gymnastics, athletics and outdoor/adventurous activities.
Hold relevant NVQ or Degree level sports qualification.
