What is the job role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Inspire Education Trust Central Finance Team for the role of Senior Finance Assistant.

Due to the recent growth of the Trust we are a newly formed team and we are moving towards fully centralising the Finance Function. The team currently Supports the Central Team budget, Bluecoat COFE Academy and Walsgrave COFE Academy.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic person with a proven track record of managing staff.

The successful candidate must be:

Self-motivated
Organised
Proactive, able to use their initiative and also embrace working as part of a team
Have strong Customer care experience
Flexible and able to embrace change

The successful candidate will demonstrate good customer care, have strong office and financial administration knowledge & a proven track record of managing staff.

We currently have Six schools within our Trust (Walsgrave, Clifford Bridge, Whittle and Hearsall Community Academy, Stockingford and Bluecoat Academy) and this post is a great opportunity for someone to join our organisation to work alongside a dedicated and supportive team.

Although your substantive post will be with within the Trust Central Team this is a MAT appointment and you may be required to undertake work in any of our schools should the need arise. School experience is desirable with experience of Xero. We place strong emphasis on a willingness to support our aims and ethos, and an understanding of the wider role within the school environment.

Work Pattern

37 hours per week, all year round
