School Business Manager - Ravensdale Primary School

What is the job role?

37 hrs per week (Monday-Friday), 41 weeks p.a.
TTO + 3 weeks
This role is grade 6 FTE - £27041 - £32910

We have an exciting opportunity for a committed Business Manager to join our school. We are looking for someone who has a warm, friendly and approachable manner, is able to lead, operate, maintain and develop the financial procedures and systems of the school. You will also need to have flexibility, tact and be an effective communicator – you may need to problem solve on a daily basis. This is very much a strategic role and you will play a key role in to school development and improvement.
Key responsibilities include Finance, HR, Health and Safety, Premises and Facilities. 

We are looking for someone who:
•    is willing to play a full and active part in the life of the school and share in our vision
•    has experience in finance including the management of budgets and operation of financial management systems
•    has knowledge of premises management, health and safety and procurement
•    has administrative experience in a management capacity, including responsibility for human resource matters
•    has excellent verbal and written communication skills

You will be required to work 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus 3 additional weeks.

Previous experience of working in a school as a School Business Manager, Bursar or Office Manager with financial responsibility is desirable however, training will be provided.
