What is the job role?
School Business Manager to start September 2024
The Headteacher and Governing Body are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed School Business Manager to oversee and manage our school’s administration, including finance, HR, health and safety and premises. The role also involves line management of the office staff, site services officers and catering team. The School Business Manager will work closely with the Headteacher, Governors, SLT and Local Authority to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services throughout the school.
This is a full time permanent post, ideally working all year round, however for the right candidate, the number of working weeks is negotiable, this will include some working weeks during school holidays.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of a team, have a proven track record in school based finance and business management, experience of managing a team, dealing with HR issues including recruitment, an awareness of health & safety requirements and have a proactive approach to their role.
A tour of the school is welcomed and strongly encouraged.
