£36,925-£46,925 per year depending on experience

What is the job role?

The Diocese of Coventry Multi Academy Trust is looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Procurement Officer. The role has come about as a result of organizational growth and anticipated future growth and recognizing the positive impact such a role can have on the academies within the Trust. 

We are looking to appoint someone who is ambitious for ongoing improvement, has strategic planning abilities and a strong influencer and collaborator. You will work in partnership with central and academy staff including Academy Business Partners in each of our academies to manage procurement activities (including tendering processes) across the Trust.  Additionally, you will support the central team in all aspects of the procurement, contract implementation and regulatory compliance in relation to procurement.

Who are we looking for?

You must be:

•             Highly motivated with a can-do attitude

•             An effective team member

•             Experienced in buying and procurement

•             Experienced in public sector procurement regulations

Do you have:

•             Buyer/Procurement experience

•             Contract implementation / management experience
