Playworker - Before and After School Club - St Christopher Primary School
What is the job role?
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Playworker to work within our successful before and after school club ‘PlayPals’. The successful candidate should have a real passion for working with children and hold at least an NVQ2 in childcare and a relevant English and Maths qualification. Our children are great to work with and enjoy spending time in the club.
Duties will include:
· Assisting in the delivery of creative and appropriate planned play opportunities in a safe, caring and stimulating environment.
· Providing general care and welfare for the children, including physical care and attention to personal needs.
Who are we looking for?
Whilst the role is term time only, there will also be an opportunity to work some additional sessions during our school holiday sessions.
Work pattern: 7 hours per week. 7:15am to 9:00am (Mon to Thurs)
