Who are we looking for?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual who:

 Understands the positive impact physical activity has on the physical and mental well-being of children.

 Can plan and lead a variety of outdoor activities which encourage children to be physically active during lunchtimes.

 Recognises and celebrates the uniqueness of every child within our school, tailoring the activities they provide to meet every child’s needs.

 Uses positive behaviour management strategies and demonstrates a compassionate and restorative approach to dealing with behaviours.

 Has the skills to work with colleagues, (including DRAs) to ensure our playground is a happy and safe place for all children.

 Is physically able to carry out this active outdoor role.

 Is able to demonstrate that their personal values align with those of our school.

 Will actively contribute to school life and the wider community.

 Possesses a sense of humour, positive outlook and has empathy.

 Is a reflective practitioner who recognises the importance of professional learning.
