Are you Castle Wood’s new People & Operations Lead?  Do you want to be part of an outstanding senior leadership team?  Do you have the ability to lead on all non curriculum areas throughout the school including HR, Finance including procurement and tendering, Health & Safety, IT, Data Protection, Catering and Premises. 

Castle Wood is an outstanding broad spectrum special needs primary school with 160 pupils aged 3-11.  We are passionate about teaching and learning and making a difference in children’s lives.  Our vision is “Together, children first” as we recognise that everyone has a part to play in our pupils fulfilling their potential.  Ofsted have judged us ‘outstanding’ in our last two inspections, recognising our innovative spirit and the warm relationships and progress children in our school are making.

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, positive, and inspirational leader with a “can do” attitude who has a drive to move our outstanding school forward.

As our People & Operations Lead you will be working in our school team where people are valued and treated with respect. You will be given lots of opportunities for professional development and growth and able to make a difference and impact to the school.

This role is full time and all year round with some flexibility regarding working arrangements for the successful candidate.

You will be a quick thinker and excellent problem solver.  You will be solutions driven and able to use your initiative.  You will have the personality, drive and energy to motivate and support everyone within our school team.

You will have a clear understanding of Safeguarding and the role of a senior leader in this process.
