Pastoral Year Co-ordinator - Lyng Hall School

What is the job role?

35 hours per week, term time only plus up to two weeks

Grade 5 - Salary £22,571 – £28,226 FTE, pro rata (actual salary - £18,918 – £23,658)

We are now seeking to make some new appointments to our team of support staff who are a key part of our outstanding provision to support young people.  The role will provide an opportunity to work closely with a range of young people and their families within a year group

The key purpose of this new role will be to oversee the general welfare, progress, behaviour and overall pastoral needs of pupils in a specified year group. You will also address other pastoral needs to help pupils to overcome barriers to learning which are preventing them from achieving their full potential.

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds, with a variety of skills and as such, the post would equally suit someone with experience of working with young people or a graduate looking for experience in education and potentially a route into teaching.  Some experience of working in a school with children would be an advantage.
