Pastoral & Safeguarding Manager - Willenhall Primary School
What is the job role?
We are a forward thinking school, passionate about ensuring all children have access to a high quality education in a safe and stimulating environment. Our school works hard to support and inspire all of our pupils. An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Pastoral & Safeguarding Manager with experience of managing a team. The individual will also be required to work with the Inclusion Team and Senior Leadership Team to contribute to the well-being and achievement of all pupils.
We are looking for someone to:
- Operate as the School’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead
- Manage pastoral care across the school to ensure there is high quality pastoral provision in place, with a responsibility for safeguarding, attendance and supporting medical needs
- Line manage and organise the work of the staff within the Pastoral Team and any associated budget
- Work collaboratively with other leaders within the school as part of the school Inclusion Team, in order to address the needs of children who need help and support to overcome barriers to learning both inside and outside school in order to achieve their full potential
- Work with pupils and families in need of support to improve outcomes
