About Park Hill Primary School

This is an exciting time for our school. Only very recently, Park Hill was inspected by OFSTED and we were delighted that they agreed with us – that we continue to be a good school (we like to think that we are very good!) Most importantly, our inspection has helped to galvanise our thinking, we are clearer on our next steps and how some of those areas might move from being judged as good to being judged as being exceptional. We are excited and motivated at that word – being exceptional!

Park Hill is a happy school. Children enjoy coming to school. Parents and carers are supportive – they are keen to work in partnership with staff to improve outcomes for their children. Staff morale is very good, we care about staff and staff retention is excellent.

Our school was built in 1967 but it has changed a great deal since then. In more recent years, it has expanded to a two-form entry school and currently have 445 children on roll which includes our Nursery children. The school grounds are generous in size and our children benefit from a large playing field, playground, garden area and a nature trails where you will find 'Forest School' taking place. We have a floodlight all-weather ‘mini-pitch’, as well as a changing room close by.

Park Hill Primary School is situated on Lower Eastern Green Lane in Coventry and serves families from Eastern Green and surrounding areas. The school is a popular choice for parents – our pupil numbers are high and transience is low. Park Hill Primary, is a school with a family feel where everyone is valued and respected.

Park Hill is a busy and vibrant school – there is always so much going on here. We are forward-thinking and always striving for improvement, seeking new and exciting initiatives around improving outcomes for children.

Our school values are simple one to remember – we call them our ‘3Rs’ and we talk and refer to these in all we do. These are: Respect, Responsibility and Resilience

These values support our way in which all members of the school can live and work together in a supportive way. They support our Aims as a school to promote an environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure.

We are a caring employer who invest in our employees. We consider our CPD plan for staff carefully and have a good records of staff development, recruitment and retention. In addition, Park Hill is part of a network of schools within Coventry Local Authority, the Compass Network. The successful candidate will benefit form the partnership and support that network participation provides.

By joining Park Hill Primary School, you will benefit from:

Be part of a Local Authority Compass Network and excellent school-based and network-wide CPD opportunities
