Sherbourne Recycling is the company responsible for the construction and operation of innovative, world class Materials Recycling Facility (MRF) currently being built in Coventry.
Sherbourne Recycling is owned and funded by Coventry, Solihull, Walsall, North Warwickshire, Nuneaton and Bedworth, Warwick District, Stratford upon Avon District, and Rugby Borough Councils. The shareholders are investing in excess of £50m in the MRF as key part of the regional waste management infrastructure.

What is the job role?
The board of Sherbourne Recycling are looking to appoint a fulltime Managing Director.
The shareholders are looking for a dynamic proven leader, who can lead Sherbourne Recycling through the commissioning stage into full operation of the MRF.
We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with the Board and other stakeholders to provide strategic leadership, plan and direct operational and support activity.
You will be instrumental in the design of a commercially focused business strategy, staffing and resource structure, underpinned by policies and practices.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
The successful post holder will be required to complete a self declaration to confirm the Director Barred list status.
