Lunchtime Supervisor

What is the job role?

We are looking to appoint reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our hard-working team. 

To be responsible for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period, in accordance with laid down procedures and practices of the Authority, and under the direction of the Head Teacher, Senior Supervisory Assistant and School Business Manager. Working in close co-operation with the Catering team.

Who are we looking for?

You will need to have a passion for working with children and will be required to work as part of our team, supervising pupils during the lunch break, ensuring a safe environment where their developmental and welfare needs are met.

Duties will include

• Being responsible for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of our children during lunchtime, following procedures and practices of the school

• Being a team player with good interpersonal skills and able to multi-task in a busy environment

• Creating play opportunities for children

• Being energetic, caring and flexible and instilling a sense of pride in the school environment to all our children

Work pattern 7.5 hours per week, 38 weeks term time only
