Lunchtime Supervisor - Gosford Park Primary School

What is the job role?

• The successful applicant would ideally have experience of working within a school/early years setting.

• Be responsible for safeguarding all pupils and use the systems and processes in school to do so.

• Encourage positive interactions and an eating experience that is safe and enjoyable.

• Actively encourage healthy eating.

• Encourage pupils to play co-operatively with each other and behave appropriately.

• Monitor pupils in play and support and encourage learning through play.

• Administer any basic first-aid needs on the playground, keeping records in the first-aid book provided.

• Establish productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.

• Promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils during lunchtime.

• Support pupils consistently whilst recognising and responding to their individual needs.

• Encourage pupils to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage pupils in lunchtime activities.

• Provide feedback to other adults in school about children’s lunchtime.

Work Pattern

1.5 hours per day
