It is a very exciting time to be joining Hollyfast Primary School. With a new leadership structure in place and a brand new vision and values for our school, we are looking forward to growing, achieving and further transforming Hollyfast into a beacon school within the local area and beyond.

What is the job role?

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated member of staff to join our lunchtime team here at Hollyfast Primary School. If you are a positive and committed person who can use their own initiative and work within a team supervising children in the dining hall and playground then we would like to hear from you.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking to appoint an effective team player who:

works well as part of a team.
can communicate effectively with young children.
has a calm, fair and consistent approach when responding to children’s needs.
can support children in their play, friendships and development of their social skills.
is committed to the safeguarding of children.
is reliable, punctual and able to meet the physical demands required of this role (e.g. putting out/away tables and chairs, sweeping up and being outdoors all year round).

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.

Following recommendations from Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) for an additional pre employment check with effect 1 Sept 22, please note, an online search may form part of this recruitment process.
