Coventry City Council is an exciting and fast paced place to work. Like most Councils we take our community responsibilities really seriously and provide some life changing services to the people of Coventry.

What is the job role?

Do you have pride in your City?  This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of a team and act as an ambassador for the Lord Mayoralty and Leadership of the Council.

The role also includes undertaking a range of office duties, assisting with delivering civic events, meeting and greeting a variety of people and presenting history tours of the Council House to a wide ranging audience.  You will need a confident and professional approach and the ability to communicate at all levels.

You will be required to work varied and unsociable hours on a rota basis, covering 7 days a week.

Who are we looking for?

You will be required to be a professional chauffeur/attendant driving them to their engagements.  A good knowledge of the road network in and around the City will be required.  Routine maintenance and cleaning of the civic fleet of cars will also need to be undertaken.
