What is the job role?

Work one-to-one and in small groups to develop pupils' speech, language and communication

Deliver targeted interventions with pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
To work collaboratively with the SENCO, Senior Leaders and Class teachers to deliver tailored strategies and support
To work closely with the Speech and Language Therapist to ensure that therapy plans are delivered effectively
Encourage positive peer interaction and social communication
Track progress, monitor engagement and contribute to regular reporting

Who are we looking for?

Level 3 TA qualification or a Speech & Language-related degree

Experience supporting children with speech, language and communication needs
Strong knowledge of SEND and the primary curriculum
A calm, kind and patient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A belief in inclusive education
The drive to grow and thrive as a Speech and Language Teaching Assistant
