Stivichall Primary is a successful and popular school with strong traditions in academic, sporting and artistic achievement. Our team is united in securing and maintaining high standards of education with children at the centre of our ethos and vision.
Required as soon as possible, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed higher level teaching assistant with NVQ Level 4 demonstrating HLTA status as well as a minimum Level 2 English/ literacy and Maths/ numeracy. Relevant qualifications are those recognised nationally as being equivalent to level 2 and level 4 of the national qualifications framework (NQF).
The successful applicant will be providing classroom support across the school as needed. This will include teaching classes, covering short term absences and allowing teachers time to plan, mark and deliver interventions. All members of the support team support children at lunchtimes by organising play and other activities. (Suitable lunch breaks will be arranged to accommodate this).

Work Pattern
35 hours per week
Term time only plus training days
Fixed term in the first instance until December 2021
