Cardinal Newman Catholic School is an oversubscribed and popular 11-18 school, set in the pleasant outskirts of Coventry.

The school has an excellent reputation, built on strong and longstanding relationships with the local community and beyond. We are a Beacon Peace School and in our recent Section 48 inspection (March 2022) the school was recognised as outstanding. Inspection report comments include:

We are pleased to be able to offer the successful candidate, an opportunity to begin or continue on their leadership journey in our over-staffed and friendly department.  We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic leader with high expectations of both staff and pupils; with an interest in the provision of high-quality and imaginative teaching and learning across the department. The role comes with generous management time in order to promote the highest standards within the team. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the whole age and ability range up to and including GCSE and A Level.

Our 2022 A-Level Maths results were excellent with 100% of students achieving an A*-C grade and GCSE Maths results sustained the department’s above average results, with 75% of students achieving grade 4 or above.
