What is the job role?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our successful school administration team at Holbrook Primary School.
Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic financial and technology minded person to come and join our friendly finance team in the school office.
The candidate should have excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with all external suppliers, internal departments and professionals within the Local Authority. The candidate should be ambitious, willing to take on new challenges and support the smooth running of the school finance office by being professional at all times.
We are looking for someone who has proven skills within a financial background and has experience in a school office administration environment or similar, with accurate data checking and inputting skills. The candidate should be familiar with a school Financial MIS system or similar management information system, be able to produce accurate inputting of financial data, be able to run reports and monitor the database efficiently.
You will be expected to work on your own initiative, plan and organise your workload, to meet financial deadlines, and Financial Year End, manage interruptions and changing priorities while also working as part of a team.
Knowledge and understanding of Financial Standards, in line with Local Authority, DFE and VAT legislation would be advantageous.
Full time, 8.30-4.30 term time only plus additional five teacher training days and 1 week during the Summer Holidays at the discretion of the SBM.
