Facilities Management are the operational estate property owners and operators, with circa 160 operational properties, 102 supported temporary accommodation units and a further 50 residential property acquisitions in the pipeline. Our approach is always evolving, and we are looking for a dynamic and ambitious individual to join us and make that difference.
What is the job role?
We are looking to recruit to a Facilities Officer to help deliver our Housing & Homeless FM service. As part of your role you will travel around our Housing portfolio carrying out site visits conducting health and safety checks, repairs and maintenance, grounds maintenance, cleaning and portering duties. You will also support contractor works and visits. You will ensure that void turnarounds are carried out ensuring that optimum occupancy can be maintained.
The hours of work for the role will be Monday – Friday operating on a alternating shift pattern. Week 1 0715 – 1515 / Week 2 1015 – 1815.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?

- You must have a good range of repair / maintenance skills and ability to use ICT systems
- You must be confident that you are someone who can manage and work within a challenging and diverse property portfolio, minimising void rates through efficient operation, preserving the fabric of the assets and make certain compliance with all aspects of Health and Safety.
- Have a full driving licence
