Facilities Management are the operational estate property owners and operators, with circa 160 operational properties, 102 supported temporary accommodation units and a further 50 residential property acquisitions in the pipeline. What is the job role?
As Facilities Management Apprentice you will be part of the FM Operations team delivering key services to the corporate and housing portfolios. You will support the management team on key areas such as property compliance, health and safety, workforce resourcing, security management, project support and other key FM services. Each day will be different and varied, some days you may be working on space management projects, looking at how we can improve our facilities for staff and service users. Other days you may be producing ID passes, scheduling repair requests for our in-house team of Facilities Operatives or assisting with inspections of properties for safety compliance. Whilst undertaking these duties you will be able to broaden your skills and knowledge of facilities management further by studying towards a nationally recognised IWFM qualification.

This apprenticeship role is a fixed term contract for 18 months in line with the length of the apprenticeship training.

- Have the ability to take ownership of tasks and work accurately and flexibly within a busy team

* The pre-interview is a short session to give the candidates further details of the apprenticeship role and to help them understand what to expect from and how to prepare for the final interview. You will also complete a short diagnostic assessment to check the level of Maths and English that they are currently working at and identify any support they may require.
