Examination Officer - Corley Centre

What is the job role?

Examination Officer  From 1st September 2022
Permanent 20 hours per week 
Yes - TTO plus 1 week (must be available for Results administration during Summer Holidays)
Grade 4  6 – 14 £20,043-£23,484 Annual FT Equivalent Pro rata to hours and weeks worked


Corley Centre is a secondary special school for children with complex communication and interaction difficulties.  A significant number of students have an autism diagnosis. We currently have 135 students on roll, and our average examination cohort is 25. We believe in inclusion and aspiration for all of our students, and offer a range of qualifications including Asdan courses, Entry Level and GCSE. 

Governors are looking to appoint a methodical, calm and organised administrator to work closely with our Assistant Headteacher: Curriculum and Achievement and take responsibility for the administration of all internal and external examinations in accordance with the qualifying bodies’ regulations.

The successful candidate will be flexible, proactive and have a high level of ICT and communication skills. They should be able to work on their own initiative but will also be part of the School Business Team ensuring support to curriculum staff and students.
 
Experience of examination administration is essential, but training will be provided on new examination board procedures, school data monitoring, student data systems and Autism Awareness
