Our friendly and welcoming Job Shop is situated in Coventry City Centre. We are here to support all Coventry residents to search for employment, training, apprenticeships and work placements.  People can explore a wide range of local vacancies that are updated daily and access training opportunities.

This is a passionate team, committed to supporting people who’ve rough slept to make changes, large and small.  Having a passion and understanding of working with rough sleepers or the homeless is as important to us as direct experience

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

Who are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you need to have:

  • A creative and ‘do what it takes’ attitude to challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent negotiating and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work effectively in partnership with multiple partner services
  • Ability to lone work and manage own day to day caseload
