About the team we are recruiting to
The Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is the front door for access to statutory services. When a safeguarding referral is received, partners from key agencies work quickly to gather and analyse information to expedite threshold decisions that safeguard children, young people and families quickly and effectively.
The MASH Team is formed by the following agencies coming together:
- Children Services including Early Help (social care)
- Education
- Health and;
- Police
The team is also supported by the Probation and Youth Offending Team
What is the job role?
The MASH provides a vital role in ensuring that families that need support receive it through the consistent application of threshold criteria. The successful candidate will have an education background, which includes a sound understanding of KCSIE. You will need to be able to work as part of a fast pace team and will have a collaborative work ethic.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
Who are we looking for?
Coventry City Council’s Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is seeking to recruit a dynamic, experienced and highly skilled Education Coordinator to contribute to the delivery of an outstanding service to children and their families.
This is a great opportunity to experience working in a busy, multi-agency environment that focuses on providing good quality advice to ensure that families receive appropriate support.
This is a five day post, job share applicants will be considered.
