Staff, governors and children are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team, who is experienced working within early years. It will be to work across both class teams to support time for staff release and illnesses.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the nursery age range 2 years to 4 year and inclusive practice. We use Makaton, Shared Sustained Thinking and have a big focus using the full learning area, indoors and outdoors to offer a full Early Years Curriculum.

From September 2026, we are seeking to appoint an Early Years
Teaching Assistant who is passionate about meeting children’s individual needs, learning through play outdoors and indoors and who is able to take on new skills to work with a wide range of needs as we have a high level of special educational needs identified.
Your qualification must meet the requirements of the Governments Early Years qualification checker and if you have qualified since June 2016, you must hold a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate for it to be valid.
