Moat House School is a 2-form entry, primary school, situated in the North-East of Coventry and offers a good education within a caring school community, where children enjoy their learning. All of the staff are committed to our children to ensure they are being given opportunities to participate in a broad and balanced curriculum and encouraging them to achieve their full potential, in our vibrant school.

We have a strong commitment to professional development and strive to support people to be the best they can be in their roles in school. Induction and training (as required), will be provided to support the successful candidate.

What is the job role?

Early Years Teacher to start September 2025

The Headteacher and Governing Body at Moat House Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Nursery/Early Years teacher to start in September 2025.

This is an exciting opportunity and a full time permanent post.

Who are we looking for?

You must be an inspirational Early Years teacher who is able to both motivate and support pupils with a high level of educational needs. You will be passionate about all aspects of teaching and learning, keen to develop your own knowledge and practices further and will be happy to engage in professional development opportunities.

You will be expected to:

Be an excellent nurturing Early Years Teacher, with experience of working in a Nursery or Reception setting
Be well organised
Have high expectations for the children’s attainment, progress and behaviour
Be a team player and work collaboratively with colleagues
Be involved in the full life of the school
Be cheerful, adaptable and creative
Have a good relationship with children and parents

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check via the DBS.
