Stivichall Primary School is seeking to appoint a new teaching assistant with EYFS experience to join our exceptional team.

Stivichall Primary School is a ‘Good’ school (Ofsted 2021) with many aspects of outstanding provision. Our team is united in securing and maintaining high standards of education with children at the centre of our ethos and vision.  Stivichall Primary School is a vibrant, happy and successful school.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant and/ or Early Years practitioner with relevant qualifications to support teaching and learning within a phase as a dynamic and proactive member of the team.

The successful applicant will also support children at lunchtimes by organising play and other activities (suitable lunch breaks will be arranged to accommodate this).  We are very keen to appoint the right person to join our exceptional staff team and welcome applications from enthusiastic, passionate and innovative EYFS practitioners as well as teaching assistants with EYFS / KS1 experience. 

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

• Places children at the centre

• Is able to build strong relationships with children, colleagues and families

• Has a strong understanding of phonics and early language development

• Understands the Early Years curriculum and early childhood development

• Has a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum

• Models effective communication skills

• Is proactive and keen to learn
