Deputy Playleader - Wrap Around Club – Required for September start

Hours of work:

11 hours per week, term time only    

3.00pm – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday,

3.00pm – 6.00pm Friday (term time only)

We are looking for caring and capable people to join a team who are responsible for supervising children, aged 4-11 years old in the after school club.  This involves supervising children inside playing, outside on the playground areas and whilst eating, ensuring an acceptable level of behaviour and discipline is maintained.  In addition, you will be required to organise activities and games for children indoors and outdoors ensuring they are kept safe.

The successful candidate will join an existing management team and help to lead the club.  This will include managing finances, communication with parents, food safety, food preparation and ordering, as well as the supervision of up to 60 children.

The successful candidate will require a criminal records disclosure and a check of DCSF List 99. Criminal records will be taken into account only when a conviction is relevant to the post you are applying for.
